Yesterday, riding back from church my parents marveled at how the boyfriend of a girl who goes to our church was leaving the parking lot in his car and she wasn't in it.
I casually said "Well you've got to keep up appearances. You don't want everyone knowing you live with your boyfriend."
My parents were like O____O
"Huh? Why do you assume she lives with him?"
Response Face
Me: "Are you kidding? She's older than me. Of course they probably live together. I'd live with my someone I wasn't married to."
Yup…I dropped a big one.
My mother then leans her back towards my father so she can look at me around her seat and says "What?"
O____O
"You'd live with someone you weren't married to?"
And you know this, man!
Me:" Of course. Why wouldn't I?"
Dad: "You think you know someone. You raise them and send them off to college and then they come back and you don't know them at all."
Yea….that was an eventful ride back from church yesterday.
