In the White Space, Between the Lyrics

They say true love's the great weapon

No one has greater love [nor stronger commitment] than to lay down his own life for his friends. John 15:13

True love breathes salvation back into me

I know this is an interesting concept, intertwining these Beyonce lyrics with Bible verses but when I looked at the lyrics written down, I saw what Jesus did for me in them. 
I saw that love was big enough to win. 
I saw that love could overcome sin by doing away with it.
I saw that God sees us as these amazing creations that He wants to know and love and yet we are deeply flawed.
 And I saw that in our imperfection, He made something perfect to redeem us. 
I saw that not even death would have the victory over Jesus. 
I know that His love is the only reason we have salvation. 
I know that the crucifixion was a terrible way to die but through that process I gained life. 
I saw that sin, which tortured me, was upon Him He was enough for do away with all the wrong I've done and give me the opportunity to know God.
